1xRTT and 1xEV-DO Network Tools
ESG has developed several tools to automate some of the common tasks that occur while setting up or analyzing 1xEV-DO systems. These tools include:
Channel Hashing (1xRTT)
Takes a given MIN and the number of channels defined, and displays the resulting channel index from the channel hashing function.
Channel Hashing (1xEV-DO)
Takes a given 32-bit "SessionSeed" and the number of channels defined, and displays the resulting channel index from the channel hashing function.
Three-Tiered Sleep
Translates Enhanced Idle State "SlotCycle" and "WakeCount" values into understandable units for "three-tiered sleep" behavior.
Sector ID Provisioning (ANSI-41)
The Air Interface Specification (C.S0024) offers several options for constructing Sector IDs. This tool presents the ANSI-41 method.
